Below, we walk you through several ways of practicing wise mind and mindfulness in your own life. As with any skill, the strategies we introduce will require practice. You might find them challenging, even frustrating, at first, but this is completely normal. Try to stick with the skills and you’ll notice improvement over time.

When you attempt the skills, don’t be disheartened when you find your mind wandering. Rest assured; this is simply what minds do. Mindfulness is not about the absence of wandering thoughts, rather, it is about making the repeated choice to bring your attention back to the present whenever it has strayed.
