Great job, you have made it to the end of the education content for Week 3. This week we have discussed how your behaviour fits into the cycle of perfectionism. We learnt that perfectionism can either lead you to do too much or too little of certain things. For example, perfectionists often don’t relax enough! As such, we covered several skills to help you change your behaviour for the better. With practice, these skills will help you reverse the negative cycle of perfectionism and feel empowered to take back control of your life.    

As with all of the skills covered in this course, the behavioural skills you learnt this week will require daily practice. In fact, repetition is key here; try taking on the motto “keep on keeping on”. It’s best to start small and build on your success as you gain confidence. Try to set yourself achievable targets by beginning with mildly distressing tasks, before you take on more significant challenges. Next week, we continue to build on your knowledge and skills by covering the topic of procrastination and time management.
